AIRPORT AUTHORITY MEETING SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, JULY 12, 2021
The monthly meeting of the Perry-Houston County Airport Authority is scheduled for Monday, July 12, at 4 pm at the Perry-Houston County Airport terminal. The meeting will be open to the public.

BRICKWORK (ALMOST) COMPLETED

Outside brickwork completed on the new terminal!  Some finishing still left to be done on the outside, but it's moving right along!  The interior drywall (below) should  be completely installed by the time you read this.  Aircraft apron is 98% finished and should be 100% in the next week.  Not quite time for a guided tour yet, but.......

Friday, July 23 is NATIONAL HOT DOG DAY!  Come by the Perry-Houston County Airport between 1100 and 1400 (that's 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM for you non-pilots) and have a hot dog and (soft) drink on us!  And take a look at the progress on our new terminal just up the road while you're here.
HANGAR INSPECTION COMING UP!!
Our annual hangar inspection (completion due in September) will be beginning this month.  The excerpts below are from the (1) Lease Agreement and (2) Airport Minimum Standards:
(1) COMPLIANCE WITH MINIMUM STANDARDS: Tenant agrees that all of Tenant’s activities, operations and conduct on the Hangar shall comply with FAA Regulations and with current MINIMUM STANDARDS adopted by Landlord, a copy of which is available for examination in the office of the Airport Manager.
(2) FROM STANDARDS: A. Tenant shall be responsible for keeping the Premises in a neat and orderly fashion. Accumulation of rubbish, trash, rags, cans, grease, and food items in or about the T-Hangars is prohibited. Tenant shall keep the T-Hangar clean at all times. The Premises shall be subject to inspection by the Landlord and if found to be a fire or accident hazard or otherwise not to be in a neat and orderly condition, Tenant shall be so informed in writing and Tenant shall, within three days of this notice, clean the Premises to the Landlord’s satisfaction.

Below are a couple of pics of hangar doors -- which does your door look like?
Letters will be going out for those whose hangars are NOT acceptable according to the above minimum standards.  Lease contracts must be renewed in October, and contracts will not be renewed without a signed lease agreement, minimum standard compliance and an airworthiness log entry on file at the FBO.
