DMH MONTHLY TRADE ASSOCIATION MEETING UPDATE
IARF participated in the monthly DHS DMH meeting with several BH trade associations. Highlights of the meeting are as follows:
- 590 Crisis Grant Update;
- FY22 DHS-DMH Budget and Rate Increases;
- Block Grant Increases;
- LOCUS: There are currently no DMH requirements to use LOCUS; and,
- BALC.

HFS RELEASES PUBLIC NOTICE ON ICFDD WAGE RATE INCREASES. COMMENT PERIOD OPEN NOW
IARF wanted to provide the following information to the ICFDD Committee regarding a NEW HFS Public Notice on ICFDD Wage Rate Increases. The 30-day comment period for the ICFDD wage rate adjustments is now started with this announcement, as of yesterday 6/24/2021. U.S. DOL ANNOUNCES AVAILABILITY OF MORE THAN $21M IN GRANTS FOR TRAINING ON WORKPLACE HAZARDS, INFECTIOUS DISEASES
The U.S. Department of Labor today announced funding opportunities for more than $21 million in Occupational Safety and Health Administration training grants for non-profit organizations.
The first availability will provide $10 million under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 for Workplace Safety and Health Training on Infectious Diseases, including the Coronavirus grants.
Applications must be submitted at www.grants.gov no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT on July 26, 2021. Applicants must possess a D-U-N-S number and have an active System of Award Management registration. (Contact: Luis Andrade)
GOV. PRITZKER ADMINISTRATION: ILLINOIS OFFERING $10M IN COVID-19 VACCINE LOTTERY
Last week, Governor Pritzker announced a new vaccine lottery in Illinois that will offer a total of $10 million in total prize money to residents who get vaccinated against COVID-19.
