TechCongress, a non-profit placing technologists on Capitol Hill to inform tech policymaking, is currently recruiting for their 2022 Congressional Innovation Fellowship, placing technologists to serve as tech policy advisors to top Members of Congress (offices like. Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-SD), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX), Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
The program pays an $85,000 stipend and other benefits. Since 2015, they’ve placed 45 technologists on the Hill.
They’re recruiting through 8/3 and are hosting a variety of informational events throughout the summer to give people the opportunity to meet the team, talk with fellows, and ask questions.
