Extra June News From Cozy

While we don't don't often send out more than one newsletter a month, June was too eventful to let it pass without a few updates.

Now that the Olympic trials are wrapping up and our guests from across the country are returning home (or to Tokyo later this summer!), Cozy is going to take a short hiatus while I (Karen) spend time with family. The shop will be closed Tuesday through Friday, June 29-July 2, and reopen for our usual 10-2 on Saturday, July 3. And if you haven't heard, we are open on Sundays again, so we will be open Sunday, July 4th as well, from 12-4.

Our annual summer stitchalong, the Summer Stitch-O-Rama, began this week, and you can still join! The Summer Stitch-O-Rama is an open-ended challenge, in which you complete 12 projects over the 12 weeks of the summer, for fun rewards and the support of other knitters and crocheters who will cheer you on as you stitch. This year, a portion of the $15 registration for the game is going to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley, a local group that supports sports and activities for kids. You can register online and print your board at home, or come in to the shop for a game board. The Stitch-O-Rama runs from June 18 to September 12, 2021; you can join us anytime, or just follow along in our Ravelry group or on Instagram at #summerstitchorama. On your marks, get set... make!
