Sunday Mass Readings
(You will need to scroll down to the separate sheets for each Sunday)
Over the last few weeks we have begun to stream Mass live at 8.30am from St Augustine’s, this is also be available to watch later in the day. To subscribe to this new channel click here.  This will replace the weekly recorded Mass.
Sunday Evening Mass at St Augustine’s
We have gradually increased the number of our Sunday Masses as needs have required. From Sunday 4th July, we will begin to celebrate Mass again on Sunday evening at St Augustine’s at 6.30pm. This will continue to increase the opportunities to come to Mass at different times across the weekend.

Sunday Morning Mass at St Bede’s
After a very helpful conversation at St Bede’s last weekend, we have decided to move the current Sunday morning Mass time to 8.30am from Sunday 11th July. This will allow greater flexibility with the Sunday Mass schedule. Thank you to the people of St Bede’s for your generosity. We will review how things have been working at Christmas.
Evening Mass on 10th July
On Saturday 10th July Bishop David will join us to celebrate the sacrament of confirmation for about fifty of our young people. Because of the continuing restrictions upon the number of people who can gather in our churches, we will have two Confirmation Masses (3pm and 7pm) at Christ the Cornerstone This will mean that there will be no regular 5.50pm Mass on that day.
Recorded Mass
In March last year, we began to record Mass each Saturday afternoon which was made available each Sunday morning. This has been very successful and during the initial months of the pandemic, when we were unable to celebrate Mass publicly, it was the only way in which people could remain in contact with the parishes and about 800 people viewed each week. As the government restrictions have begun to change, and people’s confidence has begun to grow, the number of people attending Mass has also increased.
As a result, it seems a good time to review our Sunday Mass provision. You will have seen that we now have a Mass at Christ the Cornerstone each Saturday evening, are going to restore Sunday evening Mass at St Augustine’s and have begun to stream Mass live at 8.30am. Therefore we will stop specifically recording an extra Mass, but this newsletter will continue to be distributed on a Sunday morning with a link to the 8.30am Mass which can be viewed either live or later in the day. Can I take this opportunity to thank all our musicians, readers and servers who have helped week by week to enrich these Masses.
Thank you, with blessings,
Fr Francis
