Meet the Keynote SPEAKERS

Chris Fujita
Volunteer Program Coordinator
Chris Fujita has worked with Volunteer Lethbridge for a short time and oversees volunteer screening. She has worked in healthcare and volunteer management for most of her career and has called Lethbridge home for the last seven years. Outside of work, Chris can be found in her garden among cats, or doing creative arts projects.

Amanda Jensen
Executive Director
Amanda oversees all aspects of Volunteer Lethbridge, from community development to connecting and supporting volunteers and non-profits. Her devotion for bringing people together inspires every aspect of her work, and her wish is for everyone who connects with Volunteer Lethbridge to have the greatest experience possible. For the majority of her career, Amanda has worked in the non-profit sector, including, Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden, Community Futures, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Amanda holds an M.A. from the University of Guelph in Leadership, as well as a Business Management Degree from the University of Lethbridge. She is currently an instructor in the non-profit Management Program at Mount Royal University.

Chelsea Eastman
Volunteer Programs Manager
Chelsea is all about people! She’s the hub of all things volunteer-related, and regularly meets with individuals, groups, and businesses to help match them with positive, meaningful volunteer opportunities in the city. She’s been with Volunteer Lethbridge for four years connecting with the community through engagement events. Chelsea’s positive, can-do attitude is contagious with everyone who meets her, and her willingness to tackle any problem is extremely valuable. Her flexibility and adaptability serve her well in her very dynamic role at Volunteer Lethbridge. Chelsea holds a B.A. in General Social Science from the University of Lethbridge, and has extensive training in working with people, from youth asset-building to creative mental health therapies and trauma counselling.
