New panellists announced!
Join us at 12pm this Wednesday, 30th June for a discussion on how faith leaders can support the mental health needs of their communities during the COVID-19 recovery.

Thank you if you have already registered! This week, our Coffee House is bigger and better than ever - we are calling it our “Lunch Special”, to discuss a community concern of particular importance to faith leaders at this time: mental health and the COVID recovery.

Through our Faith COVID focus groups, Community Champions roundtables, and other conversations and events, a major concern being raised time and again by faith leaders is mental health. People want to know how to support the mental health of their communities, build resilience, and care for those who are struggling.

On the other hand, people regularly point to the value of faith and faith practices as things that inherently build resilience and support people’s mental health, and therefore see faith communities as having something to offer a society that is feeling the toll of a year under lockdown conditions.

We hope you’ll join us on Wednesday for the opportunity to discuss this together with some expert panellists, and that you leave feeling better equipped to support the mental health of your faith communities and those in your local area throughout the COVID recovery.

Panellists:
  • Danny Maher, CEO of Ashford Place
  • Shaukat Warraich, CEO of Faith Associates
  • Maaria Mahmood, Director of Muslim Youth Helpline
