SACRED SENSE FROM A SECOND LOOK  is now available. 

As a novelist, I write stories, and that's what I do in this book. I believe that I have missed experiencing God too many times because I simply was not looking or listening as I should have. I have realized that often I was standing on holy ground, and I was unaware. Through the years as I have desired to know our Father better, I have learned to take a more careful look at the ordinary experiences of my life. And sometimes what I learn and experience from taking that second look has really been an encounter with God and His Truth. God is not only present in the miraculous, He is present in the mundane. My whole purpose for this book is to encourage readers to always take a second look and to be mindful of God's presence and activity in all our lives.

I'm inviting my readers and social media friends to take a WEDNESDAY WALK with me every Wednesday morning. I will be taking you on a walk through the beautiful Texas Hill Country and some other places that I have written about in this devotional book. We walk together through these one to minute videos where I'll be telling you about many of my second looks. Part of what all authors are finding themselves doing these days is promoting their work, and I can assure you none of my writer friends enjoy doing that part. Besides, most of us were taught never to toot our own horns. We'd much rather be writing. But in the present day publishing world, we are expected to be promoters and sales people.  So forgive us all. I can assure you that with every writing session, I begin by praying for God's guidance that whatever I write is never a waste of a reader's time and that my stories and characters will always point to faith and family values. SACRED SENSE is my first devotional book, and  I'm proud to offer it to you. I think it is the kind of book that you would like to offer to a family or a friend.
