Hear a bit about the Sing-Along Surrey project, now recruiting project leaders!

Summer Volunteering

Hello and welcome to the first volunteering update of the Summer break! This is the perfect time to engage with something new perhaps as we have lots of great summer volunteering opportunities for you to get involved with. Whether you want to sign up to a great online internship with one of our volunteering abroad organisations, or even take part in one of Kith and Kids summer camps we have opportunities for you.

There are also some last vacancies for our Project Leader positions, but literally only a limited few left! One project that is currently looking for leaders is our award winning Sing-Along Surrey project. If you are interested stepping up to visit care homes and singing songs with the elderly residents to boost wellbeing, then this is the one for you!

In the last year the project has worked closely with Together with Music to get videos of their performances into care homes across the UK throughout the pandemic. You can hear this year's Sing-Along Surrey Team Leader (and Mayor's Cup Winner!) Alice West talk to the charity online
