Community Events & Updates
Congratulations to the Eastside Garden Club’s youngest ‘’Yard ‘o Month’’ winners: the budding farmers of  St. Julian Devine Community Center.

On a rooftop deck at the community center, a vegetable patch grows, the work of about 20 kids and Eddie Curry, St. Julian Devine’s new director. Planted in March, the cherry tomatoes are already ripening, with the green peppers, cucumbers, beans, corn, squash, watermelons and herbs are coming up behind them. Some jaunty yellow marigolds also peek out from the raised beds.

To contact St. Julian Devine Community Center, call 843-724-7332.
