Horowitz Center Activities

Last month, we launched a CDC-funded communications project to boost COVID-19 vaccine confidence and uptake. We will work with 6 county local health improvement coalitions (LHICs) to create locality-specific behavioral nudge messages. We look forward to helping Marylanders access and use vaccine services!

We also continue to provide technical assistance to LHICs in three key areas: governance and structure, data, and community engagement. If you are based in Maryland, join your county's LHIC! Contact us if you're not sure how to join one.

A team from the US Department of Health and Human Services shares how we got to an updated definition for health literacy in Healthy People 2030.
