Well-being Walk and Talks with Staff

The Well-being group Walks and Talks have been such a pleasure to host. it's been a great opportunity to catch up with the staff and have a lovely stroll at the same time.  Some really great feedback from those who attended and Well-being surveys will be sent to all staff to feedback on the Walks and the teams Well-being activities.

There are still a few spaces left for Wednesdays Walk & Talk:

The dates available are now:
Wednesday 30th 1pm-2pm

Please remember the Walks are just scheduled for 30 mins for those of you who have limited time, the remaining 30 mins is for refreshments but those who must shoot off can grab a take-away.

The meeting point will be Sevendroog Castle and that will be finishing point also. If you require transportation to get there and back please let Virginia Ferreria know. Really looking forward to the chance to catch up with you all, especially those that I don't see around often. Click on the link below to book a slot.

EMPLOYEE CYCLE

As well as the Walks and Team activities, Home-Start Greenwich have been looking at other incentives to offer to staff as part of the Well-being week offer, particularly ones that are long-term and will allow us to address Employee Financial well-being. We are pleased to announce that we can now offer our staff Employee Cycle and Tech Scheme benefits.

Cyclescheme is an employee benefit that  allows employees to obtain commuter bikes and cycling accessories through their employer, whilst spreading the cost over 12 months and making unbeatable savings through a tax break.

The employee registers with Cyclescheme and then can visits their local bike shop or browse online to decide what they want; they then apply via the Cyclescheme website. The employer reviews their request and if they are eligible pays for the equipment.

The employee receives their bike and starts their salary repayments. After 12 months the employer will have recovered their costs and generated up to 13.8% in savings. The employee will be given their ownership options.
