SUSTAINABILITY POST PANDEMIC: MEET THE MINDFUL MAKERS
LDC Store Westfield London 30th June @ 7pm
RSVP LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE FREE DRINK INCLUDED
The pandemic and the resulting economic shutdowns have created unprecedented challenges for the fashion industry as well as shed light on environmental issues the industry faces. This resulted in consumers reassessing their values and becoming more educated on how their purchasing habits are affecting the environment and the world.
Major retailers and fashion brands play a critical role in addressing these sustainability issues and hold the key to changing the industry by making it easier and more convenient for consumers to make more sustainable choices.
As we adjust to a new normal our shopping consumption will need to change. What will be the impact of these changes and how are brands changing their core values to address these issues?
Host Shaunie Brett, Sustainability Consultant will be joined by Bel Jacobs, former Style Editor for Metro, Sophie Slater, Co-Founder of Birdsong and Amma, Writer and Digital Content Creator will discuss how they are tackling environmental issues, how the fashion sector will emerge from this Pandemic, and will give you tips on how you can change the way you shop.
