Edmonton EXPO Centre Stakeholder Survey

The Edmonton EXPO Centre in conjunction with the City of Edmonton, Explore Edmonton, Athletics Alberta, Alberta Basketball, and Volleyball Alberta along other community partners are in the process of determining the path forward for the redevelopment of the Edmonton EXPO Centre with a focus on Halls A, B, C, and D. This survey will focus on gaining your perceptions of the project, understanding your needs, pains, and opportunities for the space.


Canada Community Revitalization Fund

Applicants in Western Canada may be eligible to receive non-repayable contributions of up to $750,000 to help revitalize community and cultural centres, parks or community gardens, recreational trails and public outdoor sports facilities, multi-purpose centres, and increase accessibility to public spaces.

The True Sport Experience

The True Sport Experience – Volume 1: FUNdamentals is a resource for educators of children aged 6 to 9 consisting of a series of physical activities that facilitate learning the True Sport Principles. 


Sport, physical activity, and active recreation for all

Sport legacies: hosting mega, major and signature sport events can bring many positive benefits to the community. Our Recommendation #3: That any facility developed or redeveloped to host a mega, major or signature event must be accessible for community use after the event.
