Today we are in the recording studio recording the Nefesh EP. It feels like the building is lifting off from the ground. The energy is incredible. Can’t wait to share it with everyone. Very grateful for the Superbloom donations for making the recording possible. More to come.

This Friday (July 2) at 7pm PT we will gather for Shabbat in Echo Park at St Paul’s Commons across from beautiful Echo Park Lake. Halleluyah! If you are unable to join in person, join us on Zoom. If you are able to register in advance it is helpful to us to know who is coming AND it is also ok if you show up without registering in advance. You are most welcome to bring friends and family with you. We VERY MUCH need volunteers at each service. If you are able to come a bit early and or stay a bit after and help out, please sign up here.

St Paul’s Commons is such a great space because it flows from indoor to outdoor. In light of the new guidelines of the State of California we will continue to have vaccinated folks inside or outside, and unvaccinated folks outside. Vaccinated folks can make a personal decision if you want to wear a mask or not wear a mask. LA County is now recommending wearing masks indoors if you are with unvaccinated people. We have only vaccinated folks in doors but again this will be your choice to wear a mask or not if you are vaccinated. Everyone unvaccinated will need to wear a mask. Vaccination resources

• On Saturday Night July 17 at 8pm PT we gather to mark Tisha B’Av at St Paul’s Commons. It is a night of candlelight, LAMENTATIONS, and ritual to honor grief and loss
• Thursday night July 22 we will show the documentary film Hotel Everest by Nefesh Kin Claudia Sobral which centers on a dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians at the Hotel Everest. More information on both of these events coming soon.
