South Australia Moves into Lockdown
From the Locum Dean - Tuesday 20 July 2021

As many of you would now be aware the state of South Australia has been put into lockdown. This means that the Cathedral will be closed from 6pm tonight, Tuesday 20 July, until midnight Tuesday 27 July. There will be no weekday Eucharist Services, but Canon Jenny will livestream Morning Prayer at 8.30am on weekdays on the Cathedral Facebook Page.

It is planned that we will livestream the 10.30am Eucharist on Sunday Morning with no congregation present. This is planned to be a said service accompanied by organ. All indoor singing is prohibited so there will be no Cantor. Such a pity, because the Cantors last Sunday were excellent, and they added something very special to our worship with their chanting.

The YouTube link for Sunday's livestream will be shared in an enews update coming to you this Friday afternoon as usual.

There is no knowing what the future will hold, and we will endeavour to circulate any changes in restrictions and recommendations as they become available. Keep the faith!

It is very important that we work together and comply with the instructions that are forthcoming. Please monitor the exposure sites and present for a COVID test when necessary.

Please do not panic buy, as the grocery shops will remain open.

We shall continue to pray for each other and for the wider community.
