Later this summer, talented graduate students at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs will begin work on a year-long capstone project tackling pressing real-world questions for clients who can guide the work and use the results.

The Lewis Center wants to provide your organization with the opportunity to work with one of these graduate students. Before July 23, we encourage you to submit a short proposal that outlines your concept and research question, especially if you have a need or opportunity related to how people live, move and work in the Southern California region. Don’t worry about being too detailed because part of the student’s project is to work with you and their faculty advisor to define the problem and their proposed research approach.

Through this process, students gain valuable experience tackling planning questions, doing on-the-ground work, and furthering their training as future professionals in the field. As a client, you get access to professional-level analysis and action-driven recommendations. And we get the chance to support our students and organizations in the greater LA region.
