In an effort to reignite some sense of community that is so central to the sport of fly fishing and the endeavor of conservation, we would like to alert you to a grassroots, local event happening Saturday July 24th in Missoula!

Ever wonder why more of the content out there doesn’t look like what you actually do on the weekend? Yeah, us too. Welcome home. This is a space for the gals and guys that fish in their own backyards and want to see films that they can relate to. This is “The Most Fun You Can Have Off the River!”
Doors will open at 6 pm for this event, with fly fishing demos on the big screen as well as a special EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH JOHN MACLEAN, son of Norman Maclean and the author of an important new book "Home Waters" .
Bring your family and friends! Tickets are general admission with the option to sit in the infield/outfield or the stands, with a limited number of exclusive VIP fire pits for four available.

Note: for on the field seating only a blanket or crazy creek style legless chair or inner tube (more comfortable than it sounds) can be brought into the stadium.
Films will start at 8 pm with around a 2 hr run time. There are giveaways and raffles available from Simms and others. Please check out the festival teaser below:

It's not a matter of if, but when. Here is your chance to be prepared and learn what to do in the event that you fall in the river with your waders. This event is open to the public, all you need is $10 and a pair of waders!
