There are a range of New and second-hand clothes on sale which range form casual wear, to beautiful party dresses to winter coats (Please note that the majority of the new items are girls clothes ages 3, 6 and 10  years). We also have some prams and baby equipment in good (used) condition available at really low prices. Spread the word and look forward to seeing you all. Please note that although the restrictions will be lifted we will be implementing Covid guidelines at the event and will require masks to be worn at all times on site.

Funtastic Jungle Carnival
On Friday 16th July we delivered the Funtastic Jungle Carnival in partnership with Taru Arts. The carnival was the grand finale to a series of prep workshops that were delivered on Fridays 10am-11.30am at Brookhill Children's Centre. The families had so much fun each week  with story, songs and crafts. The carnival itself was a vibrant day with a carnival parade, face painting, crafts , drumming, dance and other fun outdoor activities. A big thank you to our partners Taru for delivering such excellence and to our staff team and volunteers who supported on the day. We are so looking forward to having more fun in the sun with our Summer programme.

World Well-being Week at Home-Start Greenwich

World Well-being Week which took place 21st June - 30th June was an opportunity for participants worldwide to promote an overall awareness for the wide-ranging aspects of wellbeing. Something never before so important as in these challenging times of ours.

Home-Start Greenwich wanted to use this week to show our appreciation for our valued staff by providing teams with a budget so they can stage their own team well-being event or engage in an activity.

In addition, Leann Cross, Home-Start Greenwich Director, hosted a series of Well-being Walk and Talks with groups of staff in the local area. We also organised a Volunteers Afternoon Tea Party and commissioned the Co-op Feel Good for the day to deliver therapies to our Nursery staff and volunteers. Feed back has been great so far and we have adopted the Walks and Talks as an ongoing monthly event as we found it to be a great way for our Leann and the staff teams to connect, exercise, explore and take in the lovely environments around us.
