Local businesses and organizations impacted by the pandemic can apply for support through the local allocation of the American Rescue Plan. The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 was signed into law this spring to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, including public health and economic impacts. As part of this $1.9 trillion aid package, the City of Muncie has been allocated $31.7 million in funds to be distributed in 2021 and 2022.
Nonprofit organizations, restraturans hotels, small businesses, tourism businesses, arts organizations impacted by the pandemic are eligible to apply for competitive grants.
