Since new guidance has emerged for places of worship, following the removal of legal restrictions from 19 July, the church wardens have been in consultation with the clergy, PCC and staff team to formulate a way forward for All Saints. Following the production of an updated risk assessment we will be moving to adopt the principles set out below from Sunday 25 July:
Staying together on the journey
Across our church and wider society there will be differences of approach to a number of the restrictions, face coverings in particular. We encourage an attitude of respect and love towards one another as we journey through the coming season together.
What's changing?
Face coverings are no longer required – attendees are free to choose whether to wear one or not
People are free to sing, with or without a face covering.
What's staying the same?
If you have Covid symptoms or have been asked to isolate, please remain at home
Services will be limited to a 50% capacity (around 120 people) – so please continue to book in to help us manage capacity
Services will be a little shorter (around 60 minutes or less), communion distribution will remain the same, chairs will stay unlinked, use of hand sanitiser is encouraged and doors will remain open for ventilation.
If you remain anxious about attending services, then you are welcome to watch online or you might prefer our smaller 8.00am service.
A small team of green-fingered folks have been looking after the vicarage garden over recent months. Next Saturday, 31 July, from 9.00am everyone is welcome to join me and a group of willing helpers to attend to the rather more mundane tasks of weeding and clearing and sweeping the garden paths, patio and driveway. Whatever time you can give will be well used and please bring suitable tools if you have them – drinks will be provided. Stuart Silk, Associate Vicar

During the Summer we'll be looking at the theme of hospitality in our morning services. This is a vital gift for our church to exercise as we welcome a new Vicar, welcome one another back to church and welcome our community to hear more of Jesus. Carolyn Lacey gives us seven, practical and biblically based "ways to welcome like Jesus".
Copies are available from the back of church for just £5. If you'd like a copy, please take one and then either put £5 cash into an envelope through the Tiger letterbox, or make an online payment here: https://allsaintslindfield.churchsuite.com/events/rhcpr1gn

Please pray for generally for Christians in India who find themselves caught between two crises: pandemic and persecution. Hindu extremists have said they wish to eradicate Christianity from India yet the world remains largely unaware of the violence and discrimination that Christians are facing
Mohan & Moses report that the Corona Pandemic has affected their lives and ministry but even in the midst of the virus God has been at work in the network of churches. Praise God that:
Churches are now able to meet in person but few are attending
He is working in the lives of many church members
All the children at the orphanage have been kept safe
Material and physical support has been given to many families
Vaccines are slowly becoming available
Please pray for:
Families who have lost loved ones to the virus
Churches where pastors have died
New pastors in training
The speeding up of the vaccine programme
Sufficient financial resources for the school and orphanage
The development of a Women’s Empowerment Centre
The FCRA certificate to be issued
That funds being transferred will arrive safely

PRAYER Praying for the Church Family
Please continue to hold in your prayers those known to you who may be especially in need of God's comfort at this time and especially for:
Lu and Roger Seymour. Please continue to pray for Lu's rehabilitation.
Al Paxton has a heart condition (chemotherapy that he was given as a child damaged his heart) which has been stable for a long time. However recently for some reason there has been a significant deterioration in his heart’s functioning to a very concerning level.
Please pray; that further tests would show the cause of the deterioration, that new medication that he is on might help- that his heart function would increase again, for Al and Sarah to trust God and to both know the Lord's peace at this time.
