Audition Experts has officially launched! We are 100% virtual. We coach actors and read with them online. Simple. Since self-tapes and self-submissions are the new normal, we thought we'd bring solutions to the digital age of casting.
The Audition Experts are among the best in the world at helping actors achieve their goals. You already know them, because they are your ACS instructors and coaches! If you want to send an outstanding self tape to casting, let us help you. You can book an online reader, some online coaching, or both! Our scheduling page makes it easy to book whatever you need, whenever you need it.
Auditions will remain online for the most part. Today's actors can put together a quality home set up at this point. A great reader and coach are two essential aspects of your audition that you can't take care of yourself. That's where we come in!
Follow @auditionexperts on instagram and twitter, and join us on Facebook for updates on services and deals. Let's get you on set!

Nominees for the 73rd Emmy Awards were announced last week, and here are some notable highlights:
- Pose’s Mj Rodriguez made history, becoming the first transgender nominee in the Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series category.
- The race for Best Comedy Series is between Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso, HBO Max’s duo The Flight Attendant and Hacks, ABC’s Black-ish, Netflix’ Emily In Paris, The Kominsky Method and upstart Cobra Kai, and Hulu’s Pen15.
- Multiple acting noms include a couple of SNL veterans, Kenan Thompson and Aidy Bryant, getting nominated for both SNL and their own shows Kenan and Shrill, respectively. The incomparable Jean Smart scored twice, for HBO Max’s Hacks and HBO’s Mare of Easttown, and HBO’s I May Destroy You finally got the recognition it deserves.
See the full list on Deadline and tune into the awards September 19.

We are in love with Hacks, The HBO Max Original "explores a dark mentorship that forms between Deborah Vance (Jean Smart), a legendary Las Vegas comedian, and an entitled, outcast 25-year-old (Hannah Einbinder)." Carl Clemons-Hopkins brings the voice of reason in a sea of chaos, while Kaitlin Olson shines like the star she is.
We can't get enough of this cast: Poppy Liu, Paul W. Downs, Mark Indelicato, Johnny Sibilly, Meg Stalter, Christopher McDonald, Jane Adams and Rose Abdoo crush as recurring guest stars - what more could you ask for? The series is created and showrun by Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello and Jen Statsky.
And Hacks just racked up a bunch of Emmy nominations, including:
Outstanding Comedy Series
Outstanding Writing For A Comedy Series (Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs, Jen Statsky)
Jean Smart: Outstanding Lead Actress in A Comedy Series
Hannah Einbinder: Outstanding Supporting Actress in A Comedy Series
Carl Clemons-Hopkins: Outstanding Supporting Actor in A Comedy Series
Jane Adams: Outstanding Guest Actress in A Comedy Series

This month we're shining the spotlight on Master Class student Joel Marshall!
Joel is a seasoned actor, comedian and producer. He has been training with Gunnar and ACS since 2019 and continued with virtual classes and coaching throughout the pandemic. He is "grateful for the teaching, method and the wonderful community of actors." We love you, Joel!
During the lockdown Joel began producing his own show Joel Marshall's Lunch Therapy:
"When the world went into lockdown, Hollywood actor and stand-up comedian Joel Marshall had to cancel his live appearances in LA comedy clubs and restaurants, and immediately went online daily to lift people’s spirits in the uncertainty that followed, with a mission to give people a mental break from talk of Covid-19. Now, over 260 episodes later, his online presence has developed into a structured show that is a form of entertainment all its own.
Lunch Therapy is a comedy show that begins with deep breathing, a real-time improv show mixed with science and animals, games, and audience participation from multiple social platforms: YouTube Facebook and Twitch. Viewers tune in live and also watch later on in cities and countries around the world. There are also weekly interviews with entertainers, philosophers, filmmakers, and other interesting people."
Joel is also appearing in the comedy pilot Brothers Inc. by Tom Kearney's On Axis Productions. It is currently running the film festival circuit.
Joel has a BA in Theatre from the University of Washington and MFA from CalArts. He also has studied at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and Ivana Chubbuck Studios. He is an unapologetic feminist, having produced the feature documentary Equal Means Equal about the ERA, created by and starring his wife (and fellow ACS student) Kamala Lopez. Joel lives in Los Angeles with Kamala and their three cats.
