I hope you enjoy the coolness of these drops, caught on a leaf some weeks ago, as the weather heats up here :)

I love this quote from Rumi because it speaks to how we can embrace our whole extraordinary complex and unfathomable selves - AND realise we are not alone too.

That's what the practice of mindfulness and self-compassion is all about.

There's still 2 more Meditation Drop-In opportunities before the August break,

Sorry no session this Saturday I'm currently leading a 5 day retreat.

- Monday 19th July 5.30-6.30pm online drop-in meditation open to beginners 
- Saturday 24th July 9.30-10.45am online drop-in meditation for graduates

A five day in person retreat for those who have completed either a mindfulness (MBSR, MBCT etc) or Mindful Self-Compassion course who want to develop or deepen their capacity to relate more kindly to themselves and their experience through an  immersive and nurturing retreat in beautiful setting. 
 

The retreat meets the requirement to have sat a five-day, silent, teacher-led retreat.


MBSR In Person Course 2021


Sundays 2.30pm – 5.15pm
3rd October – 5th December, (no session 31st October)

Venue: Kingston Quaker Centre, KT1 2PT

(includes orientation session and retreat day)
 

The 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course (MBSR) taught over 9 sessions is an excellent way to gain (or refresh!) a solid foundation in mindfulness. You will learn a whole range of meditation and awareness practices that can be integrated into your daily life.
