CRITICAL MISSING | Breaniya Todd, 16

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Breaniya Todd, who was last seen in the 5300 block of C Street, Southeast on Sunday, July 11, 2021.

Breaniya Todd is described as a black female, medium complexion,  5’2” in height, 201 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue denim shorts, multicolor shirt, black sneakers and a gray fanny pack.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in locating suspects and a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, July 8, 2021, in the 2200 block of Town Center Drive, Southeast. 

At approximately 10:31 pm, the suspects approached the victims at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victims’ property. The suspect then shot one of the victims, and the suspects fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. 

The suspects and a vehicle were captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below and in this video:

Anyone who can identify these suspects and/or this vehicle, or has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.

Suspect Sought in a First Degree Sexual Abuse, Kidnapping and Armed Carjacking (Gun) Offense: 4500 Block of 9th Street, NW

Monday, July 12, 2021

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sexual Assault Unit are seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a First Degree Sexual Abuse, Kidnapping and Armed Carjacking (Gun) Offense that occurred on Sunday, July 11, 2021 in the 4500 Block of 9th Street, Northwest.

At approximately 5:15 pm, the victim was approached by the suspect while sitting in their vehicle at the listed location. The suspect brandished a gun, entered the victim’s vehicle and forced the victim to drive to the 500 block of Crittenden Street, Northwest, where the suspect engaged in a forced sex act with the victim. The suspect forced the victim out of the vehicle and then fled in the victim’s vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male 19-20 years of age, thin build, he was wearing a white tee-shirt, green basketball shorts, a black ski-mask, and rectangular shaped black glasses.

The victim’s vehicle shown below is described as a White 2012 Chevy Volt 4 door, with Maryland tag 9AY5678.

Crime Solvers of Washington, DC, currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
