There WAS no place for our homeless neighbors to get a meal on Friday Nights in Redwood City. However, donors stepped up, volunteers showed up, and last Friday we successfully launched our first Friday night in Redwood City.

I preached, mountain mike sang, and our homeless neighbors ate. We handed out around 50 plates of food, which is great because there was a performance happening in downtown redwood city and some of our folks where there pan-handling.

We raised enough money to continue this for the rest of the year, which means we will be providing about 2,500 plates of food at this new night of service by the end of year. In addition, we will be delivering countless hours of praise music, rich sermons, and uplifting Christian fellowship.

We did not do this alone. You helped make it happen. Thank you.

Homeless to Healthy Rehab (updates)

✔ So far $87,052 has been raised. Which is 8% of our $1,000,000 goal. And currently every donation to this program is being doubled (because of a generous local family), so that $87,052 is actually worth $174,104.

✔ We are preparing a POWERFUL online fundraiser that includes a message from Redwood City’s Chief of Police and humbling stories from people who Street Life helped get off the streets. This fundraiser is going to be special. Stay tuned. You will be invited.
