10 year Anniversary Party
Sunday, August 22 from noon to 4pm

PLEASE JOIN US to celebrate the 10th year of Throwing Mud Gallery!  We have a lot of fun things planned for the party and you won't want to miss out.
  • Gallery Sale - EVERYTHING will be at least 10% off
  • Prizes
  • Contests
  • and of course, food and drink
We (and many of our pottery students) have really been into "The Great Pottery Throwdown" on HBO Max.  The show gave us some ideas for some fun pottery competitions - both on the wheel and hand building.  Sign-up sheets will be in the studio.

There will also be contests and prizes open for everyone.

Mark your calendar now so you don't miss the celebration!

Student Pottery Sale

Well, we couldn't have picked a hotter weekend to hold our student pottery sale.  Even with the 100+ degree weather, they had enough sales to make some clay money AND donate money to The Emergency Food Network.  Thanks to the following people who participated:

Jami Beitrager
Arlee Ehlers
Megan Kilen
Joanne LaCrosse
Ron & Barb Litwiller
Cindy Olekszyk
Lisa Olsen
Jana Smith-Worden
Rosa Vargas

Our next session of classes will begin the week of August 9th

New in the Gallery

AshenWren Ceramics is the work of Ashley Tennent, of Clifton, Virginia. Her pottery design makes  extensive use of intricate slip trailing to create beautiful floral and geometric patterns.
New Designs from Oregon jeweler, Vickie Maloney/Blue Artichoke Designs. She's added a line of acetate tortoise shell jewelry that is lightweight and fun to wear!
New stock from Seattle artist, Yuko MIki/Honeyberry Studios.  We have greeting cards, art prints, stickers and magnets.
Stormy Mountain Soaps are back!  A natural cleansing and moisturizing olive oil soap, made in Entiat, Washington.

As always...

Mark is always looking for packing peanuts.  Let us know if you have any to donate, or just bring them by the shop.
