Congregation Survey Updates!
Whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31
First, I want to give thanks to and for the 63 people who have filled out our COVID Mitigation Survey so far. Thank you all for your candor and your concern for the well-being of your fellow parishioners. For those who have not yet filled out the survey, it is not too late to do so. Here’s the link!
Second, I want to give thanks for what the survey is revealing so far. It is hard to know whether the 63 who responded are an adequate cross section, but if it is then 83% of our households are fully vaccinated. Officially, that is herd immunity. The regathering team and I will meet shortly to go over all the data and make some determinations about how to proceed in worship.
This is necessary, because the numbers are crawling upward again. We are still in good shape here in Baltimore County, but we don’t want to get overconfident given the COVID variants out there and the probable need for booster shots later this year or next. We will—as we must—always favor care for our congregational family over convenience.
Survey results will be communicated shortly. Peruse them at your leisure, but don’t feel obligated. Your regathering team are on the job! This information is mostly for the curious.
Meanwhile, love God, love your neighbor, seek and serve Christ in all people!
in peace,
