The Library now offers free Notary Public service to verify your identity and your signature on legal documents. Patrons seeking notary service should call the Library at (847) 725-2150 one hour prior to their visit to ensure a notary is available.

The EGVPL Stage presents solo acoustic musical entertainment, Dave’s Bazaar. Come and relax as Dave plays everything from rock and pop to folk and country.
Visit our booth at the Elk Grove Farmers Market, located in the parking lot between the Library and the Village Hall. We'll have fresh ideas and fun activities for adults and kids alike!
“But are Mermaids Real?”: Exploring the Science of Merfolk
Are you curious about mermaids? Are they real or pure myth? In this talk, Peter Goggin will discuss realms of science, myth, popular culture, metaphor, and notions of the “reality” of merfolk.
Drop by the library to make a simple craft on your own or with the help of a parent/caregiver. The craft will be available in Youth Services, while supplies last.
Join us in the Elk Grove Village Public Library parking lot for a socially distanced, in-person event! Registration is required and limited to EGVPL cardholders.
