The church building will be opened for private prayer, seven days a week, from 9.00am until 4.00pm.
Zoom coffee, which has been taking place on Sunday mornings will be stopping as of now. With the resumption of a more normal pattern of services from Sunday 25 July and we trust the opportunity to meet with each other in services and with coffee after services re-starting in due course, we feel now is the time to stop. Zoom coffee has been a great blessing to many of the church family during this season, when we have not been able to meet in person. It’s been a good time of sharing, both at a deeper level and at other times with lighter things, as well as the real privilege to pray together and for each other. We are hugely indebted to John and Heather Barling for hosting this time with such love and care.
Summer Services at All Saints
From next Sunday 25 July our Sunday service times will be reverting to something more similar to our pre-Covid pattern:
8.00am Communion remains unchanged, meeting every 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday
9.30am will be returning initally as "All Saints Kids & Friends"; six all-age services running through the summer holidays
11.15am will return to the pre-covid service that was renewed in September 2019
6.00pm will remain unchanged for now; watch this space for updates in September.
We'd love to see you back with us in person to worship together. Some may not yet be able to, so our plan is to continue to live-stream only our 11.15am service as a "catch up" service.
It's our hope that All Saints Kids groups will return at our 9.30am services from Sunday 5 September. Our 3.00pm families service will be taking a break over the summer holidays, though we're considering whether it may return in September with an outreach focus for families.
Extraordinary Hospitality
During the Summer we'll be looking at the theme of hospitality in our morning services. This is a vital gift for our church to exercise as we welcome a new Vicar, welcome one another back to church and welcome our community to hear more of Jesus. Carolyn Lacey gives us seven, practical and biblically based "ways to welcome like Jesus".
Copies are available from the back of church for just £5. If you'd like a copy, please take one and then either put £5 cash into an envelope through the Tiger letterbox, or make an online payment here: https://allsaintslindfield.churchsuite.com/events/rhcpr1gn
Welcoming the new vicar
The Nichols family are moving to Lindfield in late August, and Steve will be licenced as vicar on Thursday 2 September at 7.30pm. Details of the service will be announced nearer the time, and it will be livestreamed. Steve will be preaching at all services on Sunday 5 September, and is looking forward to getting know the church family after then. Katie Spensley and Laurence Trigwell, Churchwardens
Tiger@Ten in church
We are delighted that we can restart Tiger@Ten on Tuesday 3 August at 10.00 am in the church building. We are really looking forward to meeting together after a long time of separation. Do join us to meet friends old and new! New activities alongside popular favourite ones, and always a warm welcome. We will then meet fortnightly in church, with our Christmas Special planned for Tuesday 14 December.
All Saints Kids
We're really looking forward to resuming our All Saints Kids groups at our 9.30am services, beginning from Sunday 5 September. If you're planning to join us at 9:30am or 3.00pm in September please register your interest below – this will be a real help for us as we plan our groups. Please complete a sign up for each child by Friday 23 July. https://allsaintslindfield.churchsuite.com/events/2nuxs76t
