PVE NW Block Captains – Updates and Summer Fun

Dear <<First Name>>,

In this email:

– Calendar of summer events
– Help wanted
- Sign up for Street Meets

Happy summer and thank you for your service to our City.  I am sending out this Block Captain Update to ensure you have your calendars marked for fun summer events here in our City.

Also, we could use some extra hands at some of our events.  This is a fun way to reconnect with neighborhoods and doesn’t take much time.

Calendar of Summer Events

You’ve seen our recent eblasts to the Members and they list a number of events coming up in the next few weeks.  Please plan on attending with your family and make sure that your neighbors are aware, too.  You can print out one of the eblasts and distribute it on your block or direct them to our website.

We Could Use Volunteers at our Upcoming Events

We could always use a few extra hands and friendly faces at our upcoming summer events.  Contact me if you have a little bit of time to join in the fun and give a little time.

Street Meets Resuming this Summer with the PVE PD

Captain Best is interested in having the PVE PD meet and greet with the residents of the City.  With COVID restrictions lifting, we now have a chance to reconnect and use the Street Meets as an outdoor gathering to meet our Police, Fire and PVE Neighborhood Watch representatives.

Contact me to schedule an event in a cul-de-sac, driveway, front yard or parkland.  I will help you organize a date and location.  All you need to do is to get the word out to your neighbors (I’ve got a flyer for that).

Street Meets are an informal way to get questions answered about neighborhood safety and get useful information on how to keep your home safe or be proactive with Coyotes.

Thanks again for your service.  We, as Neighborhood Watch leaders, can make a difference for our community.

If you have questions or need some support, please contact me.
