Saturday 24th July 11 a.m. “Against plastics” fun demo with a serious point

Plastic has become a huge environmental problem, adversely affecting biodiversity, and its production is a big contributor to climate change.
Join the demo starting at Pound Meadow, Tring at 11 a.m. Saturday 24th July (the field set above the road at the Robin Hood/Tesco end of High St)
Fancy dress would be great, altho’ it’s optional.

Sunday 25th July Open Gardens including Community Garden 2 – 6pm

The Tring in Transition Community Garden is amongst eight gardens open to the public in aid of Rennie Grove on Sunday 25th July from 2 to 6 pm.  Duckmore Lane, Tring: opposite St Josephs Care Home on Aylesbury Road.

The gardens are in Tring, Aldbury, and Wigginton, with details at https://renniegrove.org/whats-on/detail/tring-open-gardens

Although dogs are allowed at some of the gardens, that isn’t the case with the Community Garden because it is on the allotments site.  Sorry about that.

Tickets for all the gardens cost £6 per person; £10 for a couple; £15 for a family.  They are available from any of the participating gardens, but cannot be bought in advance.
