A celebration of the Bayou Teche Paddle Trail, Shake Your Trail Feather will take place on Saturday, October 16, at Parc des Ponts in Breaux Bridge. Festival events include a morning Paddle Parade, kayak raffle, discussions on attracting songbirds to your backyard and the planned expedition by Ellen Magellen to row around the world starting from Bayou Teche! Artisans, kids’ activities and great music from noon-6 p.m. with Stop the Clock, Bonsoir, Catin and Horace Trahan and the Ossun Express.
The festival is FREE with official festival pins for purchase to show your support. Registration and a $10 fee is required for the Paddle Parade via Eventbrite.
