The Indiana Cheese Trail has caught the attention of one of the largest and most established magazines in American cuisine - Food and Wine. With a readership of over 7 million and a website that sees 27 million page views a month, this article puts Indiana dairy farms and cheesemakers on the map.

Indiana State Fair and Dairy Bar
We can't wait to see you at the Indiana State Fair! Keep an eye on the mail for special coupons to cool off and fuel up when you visit us this year. Catch us at the Dairy Bar and around the fairgrounds, July 30 – August 22, promoting dairy products and dairy farming.
BIG CHANGES
The State Fair and Dairy Bar will be open Wednesday thru Sunday and closed for service each Monday and Tuesday, along with the rest of the Fairgrounds. To make up for the closed weekdays, the Indiana State Fair will start one weekend earlier.

Fuel Up to Play 60 –
Successful Grant Cycle
After a year of educators working so hard to get through the year, we were thrilled by the interest to build and grow FUTP60 programs. In all, $145,000 in spring grants were requested from schools around the state. While being budget minded and dairy focused, we are excited to support 26 schools and schedule visits to them in the fall!
- 16 school grants
- 8 schools with supplies or FLAG-In-school kits
- 2 cafeterias updated from the Colts

In partnership with the Indianapolis Colts and their mascot Blue, we created a fun way to demonstrate the great nutrition in fluid milk as compared to some other healthy foods.

#IceCreamCommunity
We kicked off National Ice Cream Month in July with our annual Indianapolis-area ice cream social, this year a drive-thru event at Victory Field. Working with the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, we raised $6000 for the organization and connected Indiana dairy farmers with Indiana communities. Check out the recap video from Hoosier Ag Today!

Checkoff Podcast Out Now
National and local checkoff organizations have launched a monthly "Your Dairy Checkoff" podcast to showcase how checkoff programs across the country are collaborating to build dairy sales and trust in today’s changing marketplace. Each episode will be hosted by dairy farmers or industry experts. Listeners will hear conversations focused on local, national and global dairy promotion, including consumer research, dairy nutrition, science and issues updates. Farmers will help guide the selection of topics through their feedback. The first podcast discusses using online gaming influencers to deliver its message.
