Leroy Street Studio will be presenting their work on Chinatown Nights with partners Asian Americans for Equality, Think!Chinatown, di Domenico + Partners, Fried Frank, and Buro Happold. The monthly open-air program supports local vendors, showcases local artists, and activates the underutilized Forsyth Plaza public space with curated cultural programming to assure the space is held for the Chinatown community.
The Summit also includes presentations by the Lower East Side and South Bronx Working Groups, and a panel discussion about how community organizations, city agencies, funders, and design professionals can best collaborate to help communities recover from the pandemic and thrive going forward.
