Secret Admirers

A curated selection of branding + design we didn’t create,
but that we really liked anyway.

Homage: Connect & Inspire

“Homage speaks to one of our messages here at Fifteen4, The Design of Experience. Homage has found a way to design an experience that we have with our clothing that allows what we wear to tell a story and connect us. Focused on nostalgia and comfort, the experience they deliver extends beyond their product and interweaves itself into our daily experience with others who share the ideas, memories, and culture that we love. As one of my favorite companies, Homage speaks the design language and experience that I continuously learn here at Fifteen4.”

Shibuya Station in Tokyo Gets the Jujutsu Kaisen Treatment

“Jujutsu Kaisen is my favourite manga/anime series that is currently ongoing. I’m a huge fan of installation pieces so when it was announced that Shibuya station in Tokyo, Japan was going to get the “JJK treatment” it got me really excited! What makes this even more amazing (but also tragic) is the fact that there are quite a few character deaths that take place in (you guessed it) Shibuya station. It’s basically a beautiful but horrifying reminder that some of my favourite characters are taking dirt naps lol.”

What We’re Up To

Real Talk: Black Leaders in Tech presented by f5

"We always try to operate from a place of authenticity, having reasons to believe in the company or product we’re representing. That was never easier than last month when our technology client, F5 (FFIV - NASDAQ), asked us to create video content for an important event they hosted: REAL TALK: Black Leaders in Tech.

We had the privilege of filming and interviewing an amazing group of Black executives from companies like Microsoft, Facebook, CapitalOne, ZOOX and Coqual. And to top it all off, we filmed and directed an extended conversation between F5 CEO, Francois Locoh-Donou and Trevor Noah of The Daily Show fame.

The event was a huge success, receiving rave reviews from attendees. What a privilege to participate in such important work!"

Our Creatives In the Wild

Our people make coming to work worth it. Here's what they've been up to this month outside the office.

Hand Crafted: Custom Corn Hole Boards

“Years ago we had a family friend that had a homemade cornhole board set and I just got the idea that I could build a better set and really do something unique each time. I've always had an artistic side, drawing when I was younger, excelling in art classes, and even earned a master's degree in graphic design. Since my professional career is now on the project management side, this is how I get my creative fix. Usually when I create a set for someone, word spreads and I get more requests. I love it when I can do a brand new design for someone too. The reactions I get when I deliver the finished product make it all worthwhile!!”
