Join AB in Eastern Europe in praying that Ž’s family would come to faith in Christ. Praise God that the apartment for the single mother was completed. Pray for the upcoming vision trips that will be taking place by people considering joining the work in BiH.

Pray for More Workers
Pray for more harvest workers to connect with the peoples of Japan so that the Japanese may have a relationship with Jesus and eternal life with Him.

The Sindhi Sama are mostly agricultural workers. Would you pray that 49 workers who have experience in business would go to share with the Sindhi Sama the skills that it will take to sell their crops to improve the livelihood of the people?

During the time of Jesus, the Sama Sindhi were a Hindu and Buddhist people. A few centuries later, they were first introduced to Islam through conquerors. Their home served as a strategic location in the Caliphate as the "Arabian gateway" into India. Today, Sama Sindhis remain in southeastern Pakistan, the "gate of Islam." The rural Sama Sindhi live like their ancestors as irrigation farmers and livestock herders. They combine the saint worship of Hinduism with Islam, while they also believe in traditional folk spirits. The urban Sama Sindhi live as physicians, lawyers and teachers and they practice traditional Islam.

Ministry Obstacles
Because their experience with religious introduction has been through conquest, it is likely they will meet another new teaching with skepticism, if not hostility.

Outreach Ideas
The Sindhi diaspora is significant, with many having settled in the USA and Europe. Encountering them with the love of Jesus and presenting them with clear teachings of his Word in the West may be the best way to bring them Christ. However, most of the Sindhi diaspora are Hindu, though there are Muslims among them that can also be reached.

Prayer Focus
Pray that the Lord would ignite South Asian believers with missionary zeal for going to the Sindh to show God's forgiveness and salvation. Ask the Father to prepare Sama Sindhi hearts for a mighty church planting movement that will be a beacon of his light in the "gate of Islam."
