New Challenges Create New Opportunities
Thank you for your orders! We have experienced an unprecedented demand for our products recently and we appreciate each and every one of you for trusting us for your industrial cooling needs. Along with many other companies, we are also experiencing labor shortages at both our Colville, WA and Paxton, IL factories and this has led to unusually long lead times for our products. We are working through these challenges and will prevail thanks to our in house welding school and good training systems for our new employees.
We are also challenged with rapidly increasing costs of raw materials, which has been reflected in our recent price adjustments. Even with all these challenges against us, I can tell you that Colmac will pull through, and we will be a stronger company after this. We will continue to provide good service and support to all of you and we will also continue juggling and reprioritizing our production schedules to take care of your needs.
We still have several new product ideas that we are working on and preparing for release in the future once our lead times have returned to more normal levels. Colmac will work very hard to remain the premium, preferred industrial coil supplier in our industry. 12 A+M Industrial Air Coolers With EC fan technology were recently installed in a cold storage distribution center in the midwest. The EC fan motors provide long airthrow, low sound pressures, and have built in variable speed capabilities. Other features include fully insulated drain pans with extended coverage and finish level 4 welds.

A new pet food processing facility is almost complete, where several A+R Industrial Air Coolers are Installed. The A+R air deflector and hinged access panels on both sides provide easy service access. Other hygienic features include epoxy coated fins, finish level 3 welds, and a full coverage stainless steel drain pan. The low profile allows for more processing space.

Bruce Nelson, P.E. Receives IIAR awards & Retires from Colmac Coil
Bruce Nelson, P.E., Past president of Colmac Coil was named 2021 IIAR Member of the Year & Honorary Lifetime member on June 21st, 2021. After 40 years of service, Nelson officially retired from Colmac Coil on July 4th, 2021.
