Hope this lands in your inbox as you are sipping something delicious in the sun! I've currently got a glass of Pascal Henriot's Auxerrois from Champlitte just North of Burgundy and it is very much doing the trick!
We will be hosting a Lions tasting at 148 Upper Leeson Street next Wednesday evening (21st) from 6pm-7.30pm.
This will comprise of three wines from the British Isles (Wales in fact... Ancre Hill Estates in Monmouth) and three wines from South Africa (Craven)
Because of the limited space for this event, we can only take full table bookings. Each table seats 4 people and tickets are €40 per head / €160 per table. Great opportunities to taste some fantastic fine wines.
Because of the very limited number of tables these tastings sell out very quickly so please reserve by calling the shop on 015585838 and paying for your table. There will be someone tat the shop to take your calls from 10.30am tomorrow morning (Sat 17th)
Weather currently is looking really fair but this will be under the awnings outside the shop so there will be some protection against the elements!
These events finish at 7.30pm and the good folk at Perroquet just around the corner from us have asked us to let you know that they would be very happy to take 8pm bookings for dinner or drinks afterwards (01) 677 1223
We are now serving drinks outside the shop at 148 Upper Leeson Street on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, walk-ins only, and from 4-8pm. Normal opening hours for both Leeson Street and York Road are still in operation and details are below in the signature.
