The 2021 Bond Exploratory Committee and City Staff will partner again to host a second public input workshop on a proposed November referendum on July 22. Interim City Manager Bill Atkinson, who is helping to lead the effort, said: “This will be a second opportunity for the public to provide the bond committee and staff feedback on the proposed 2021 referendum. This session will also begin with a welcome by the Committee along with an overview presentation regarding proposed projects and bonds they have been discussing. Then the public will have a chance to walk around and review information at various stations set up by project type including transportation, parks and facilities.”

Atkinson added that the “stations will be manned by both Bond Exploratory Committee members and City staff to answer any questions. The citizen input will help the Bond Committee in formulating their recommendation to be brought to the City Council in a Joint-Special Meeting on July 28.” Watch Special “In the News” Video
