Minister for the Environment and Climate Action visits TGR
Dear <<First Name>>,
Minister Amber Jade Sanderson came to the recycling facility to better understand the e-waste problem. The WA government has made a commitment to bring the state in line with better practice for managing e-waste through investment and the 2024 e-waste landfill ban.
Total Green Recycling is supportive of the government's recent policy announcements and looks forward to being a collaborative partner in working to minimise and manage electronic waste in WA.
We've got some great articles to share this month, focussing in on our right to repair, and the growing circular economy.
And of course, we've got the monthly statistics letting us know we recycled a whopping 252,432 kg in June.
That's 252,432 kg that were diverted from landfill in just one month ♻️
The right to repair..
A productivity commission has been investigating how Australia can make this right to repair more accessible and reform the industry to better meet consumer needs.
Speaking of the circular economy, let's dive back into the Asset Recovery sector of TGR. Here at asset recovery, we want to extend the life of these electronic items, keeping them in their lifecycle for longer.
We are continuously working to improve our service speed, quality and capacity and hope that you will continue to support this important service of e-waste recycling here in WA.
