EV charging infrastructure

As the 2030 deadline for ending the sale of petrol and diesel cars and vans approaches, the need to invest more in Scotland's electric vehicle (EV) charging network will increase.
For a while now our Net Zero and Innovative Finance teams have been working with Transport Scotland to identify the challenges and opportunities for the public EV charging network in Scotland with a view to establishing new delivery models with a mix of public and private investment.

Construction starts on first LEIP project
|

Last week, East Lothian Council gave the green light for construction to start on its £47m Wallyford new learning campus - the first to start on site within Scottish Government’s Learning Estate Investment Programme (LEIP), and is being delivered by hub South East.
LEIP is managed by our Learning Estate Investment team, with Gemma Boggs who heads up the team saying: “A key element of the new Learning Estate Investment Programme is an outcomes-based approach to deliver high quality, well maintained, digitally-enabled learning environments that achieve ambitious energy targets."

Infralink - a helping hand for telecoms

Last year our Digital Infrastructure team established the Infralink programme to bring public sector bodies that value improved digital connectivity together with mobile network operators who can deliver it.

hub South West starts on £20m Newmains and St Brigid’s Community project
|
|
|
A formal sod-cutting ceremony has marked the start of a £20 million project to build the Newmains and St Brigid’s Community Hub and Family Learning Centre in North Lanarkshire.
The project, the first of three North Lanarkshire Council initiatives with a cumulative value of £60 million, will be delivered by BAM Construction and hub South West.
