We're thinking ahead...
Yarns in the Farms is open for in-person shopping: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11am - 2pm and Saturday from 10am - 4pm. Our online shop remains open as well and we're still shipping and doing contactless pickups. Please, don't hesitate to reach out to us if we can assist in any way.

[NB: Unless otherwise specified, yarn, needle, accessory, and book links/images will take you to our website and pattern links/images will take you to Ravelry.]

Yes, we've just had the Fourth of July and, no, we're not taking leave of our senses.

We are, however, already thinking about holiday gift giving (you have to plan ahead in retail!).

These gifts aren't just for giving to others, either. Treat yourself if you see something you love or send this email along to a loved one with a little note about your favorite item!

Smallidays from Emma's Yarn!

(packaging shown is from last year's sets but this year's are sure to be equally adorable)

Ever wanted to get in on a yarnie winter holiday season countdown calendar? Here's your chance!

Our friends at Emma's Yarn are offering preorders for their "2021 Smallidays Sets" right now.

There are 3 different bases to choose from - 2 fingering weight and 1 DK weight (see below for details). Each set will include 25 individually wrapped Smalls, a Love + Leche Little Bee lotion bar, and an insert with suggested knit and crochet patterns.

To make it easy to manage, we've added these sets as a preorder on our website. Choose your base, place your order, and we'll let you know when the yarn arrives (sometime late October-mid November) so you can pick it up. We're also happy to ship if you don't live locally so don't let that stop you!

Orders are due at the end of July so make sure you place your order quick if you want to get in on the action.

Bases
Practically Perfect - fingering weight
80% superwash merino, 20% nylon - 2,025 yards total

Super Silky - fingering weight

They're back again - beautiful Icelandic wool blankets from Lopi!

A bunch of folks took advantage of this offer last year and were thrilled with their blankets. Now it's your turn!

The lookbook from Istex/Lopi is gorgeous and highly recommended for some eye candy viewing.

Some of our favorites this year are:

There are 27 (yes! 27!) different styles to choose from so make sure you pop over to the lookbook or our website to check them all out.

Again, to make this easy for us to manage and for you to order, we've added all the options to our website.
Unlike the Smallidays Sets, we are unable to ship these due to their size. Blankets must be picked up in person at the shop.

Our order for the blankets is due to our vendor in mid-September so the cutoff for ordering is September 15th. Blankets will be shipped to us at the end of October/beginning of November so you'll have them in plenty of time for gift giving and/or cold weather snuggling.

We will not be stocking these at the shop so if you'd like to get your hands on one be sure to order online so you don't miss your chance!

Don't forget to register for our next Work-in-Progress/Group Help class (7/19) or Foundations of Knitting 2 (7/26, 8/9, & 8/23) if you plan to attend. Those links will take you to the pages where you can find out all the information about both classes.

Hope to see you there!

Newly Arrived!

The July Collector's Club color from Koigu - Macaroons.

This beautiful pastel colorway is perfect for this time of year and totally reminiscent of a tray of yummy macaroons.

As usual, our supply is limited so snag yours soon if this is the color for you.

Berroco Project of the Week
(Yarn and pattern links in this section will take you to Berroco's pages for the design and the yarn.)

This week's project is the lovely Landscape Pullover by Norah Gaughan!

A unique tunic, stitch patterns are used to paint a landscape effect on both the front and back of the sweater. The split hem makes it perfectly wearable.

Sizes available are from 41" to 68" and it is recommended that you choose a size with 9-11" of positive ease to get the fit shown on the model.

This sweater is knit in Berroco's Modern Cotton DK, a soft blend of Pima cotton and Modal rayon that is specially twisted to insure the softness doesn't sacrifice the stitch definition.

Modern Cotton DK is $10/skein and the generous yardage means you only need somewhere between 4 and 8 skeins to make this top.

As always there is an additional $7 shipping charge for these drop ship orders so Berroco can send them straight to your door.

Want to order one of these kits? Go to Berroco's pages for the design and yarn to check out the details and choose your size and color. Then click here and send us an email. We'll be in touch to confirm your information and process your payment.

Is there an older Project of the Week that you're still thinking about? We can likely still get it! Check the Berroco 1-2-3 Dropship Store to figure out all the details and then use the email link above to send us a message.
