"Which churches are reopened?"

The answer we've been waiting for: All of them!

We have a high level of vaccination in the State of Washington, and we are still in a pandemic where good health and safety habits are still important.

The big question: "Do I have to wear a mask at church?"

Individuals who are fully vaccinated (series of shots + 2 weeks) are no longer required to wear a mask at church. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated are still required to wear a mask at church. Some individuals who are vaccinated are choosing to remain masked because of unvaccinated family members.

As always, kindness and grace to each other in our interactions goes a long way.

Help fund artwork illustrating Jesus and multiple children with disabilities!

Showcasing Special Stars

Did you know there are very few paintings of Jesus with children with disabilities? At the Special Stars Christmas program on Dec. 17 at Federal Way Performing Arts Center, I’d like to present a piece of art that expresses the wide spectrum of disabilities. All our children should feel valued and accepted and normalize disabilities. I’d like to give each participating child a copy of a painting that includes them and Jesus. We have an artist secured to illustrate each of the 70 children.

Here's where we need your help: We need to raised funds to cover the cost of creating this piece of art depicting Jesus with children with many disabilities. We have about half of the funds already raised and are eager to see your support, too. This painting of Jesus and children is a not-for-profit venture.

I hope you will join me in this cause! Thank you in advance for your contribution!

Ministry Moonshot: Food Therapy

A year ago, Washington Conference asked during virtual camp meeting: What would you do with $1,000 for your ministry? Sabreehna Essien from University Place, WA, answered that she would host a food and art therapy workshop. Those dreams and plans are coming together for a two-day workshop happening this weekend!

There was so much interest that Sabreehna had to close registration. Drop an email to Sabreehna if you'd like to be included in future workshops.

Trudy Ann’s Story | Searching for More

Trudy Ann Harty is a travel nurse here in Washington. One day she was talking with friends about what she was missing in the pandemic and church fellowship was high on the list. She went online and soon discovered a Bible prophecy series happening near her in Tacoma. God keeps speaking into her life as she seeks to follow God more and more.
