"The YouTube Formula: How Anyone Can Unlock the Algorithm to Drive Views, Build an Audience, and Grow Revenue" - Derral Eves
The forward by Jimmy Donaldson (aka Mr. Beast) has gripped me alone! It reinforces just how powerful YouTube is as a visual medium, and how undercapitalised it is from marketers.
It's a comprehensive book and Derral has been in the YouTube space for over a decade, so I can't wait to learn specifically from him. It was also only published in April of 2021 so incredibly up to date on the topic.

I don't know why I haven't purchased this sooner.
I sit. A lot! I sit when I edit, I sit when I write this email, I sit in the taxi. So much so, my regular daily steps are somewhere around 3,000 steps (awful I know).
Most days when driving in the cab I reflect about the damage that is being done to my body, sitting is the new smoking as they say.
So, the intervention? A standing desk! And wow what a difference it has already made to my mood, productivity and energy levels! I can't wait to share this on a future video with you all as I have found it incredible!
