Dear <<First Name>>

Good afternoon and happy Friday folks, we hope this email finds you all well?
Thank you for taking the time to have a read of our latest news, your support is very much appreciated.
It feels like we've got lots to celebrate right now, with some lovely feedback coming in for the efforts we make.

So as always, take a seat and read on...

GOING THE EXTRA MILE: We're really very proud of Team Manager Eve, from our North & East Unity Service. One of her clients has a grandmother who is dying but she's unable to visit so Eve has been taking her in the evenings. Such a great example of how our staff really do everything they can to support those they work with. Well done Eve.
STUDENT MENTORING: Here's a lovely piece of feedback for staff member and nurse Paula, who has been supporting students and allowing them to shadow her at work.

"Since speaking with Paula I have a new found enthusiasm for possibly helping support people with drug and alcohol addictions in the future and I fully intend to take Paula up on any additional time she is able to offer me and visits that she kindly invites me on."

Well done Paula!
FEEDBACK GROUP: A big thank you to all Matthew Project members and clients who attended our Service User Feedback face to face and virtual sessions last week. Hearing how you have benefited from our service and receiving first hand feedback regarding what we can do differently is incredibly helpful. Your insight and ideas are really valuable. We have some great ideas to move forwards with. Thanks also to Henri, our amazing volunteer, for sharing her expertise and facilitating the groups.
YOUNG PEOPLE'S DROP IN: It’s been a difficult year, so if you know an 11-16 year old that needs support and advice around their mental health, wellbeing and information on services that are available to help them, please let them know about our new drop in. Our Young People's Wellbeing Drop In is every other Thursday at Merchants' Place, Cromer, from  3.30pm to 5.30pm and is free to attend. For more information call/text Gina on 07770605774 or email earlyintervention@matthewproject.org

Seven Recovery Support Programme members attended our member feedback focus group.
Five members attended volunteer training this week.
Our Interns are now volunteering weekly with a view to starting with us soon.

BACK OUT IN SCHOOLS

Sarah Nunn and Gina delivered a drug and alcohol education session at Ormiston Venture Academy last week. Here is some feedback from the Director of Learning:

“It was great to have the Matthew Project in. Students enjoyed the sessions and hearing from professionally trained outside speakers; it really added to the impact of the day. The presenters were excellent, very professional and brought a range of teaching tools with them to make their session hands on and interesting. Will rebook for next year!”
