> The Alabama Best Practices Center: Did you know that sleeping and dreaming actually help us learn and remember? Learn more about dreams from the authors of "When Brains Dream: Exploring the Science and Mystery of Sleep" in our latest blog.
 

 
> A+ College Ready News: This week we hosted our first ever Advanced Placement Summer Intensive, an initial training for AP teachers who are brand new to the A+ College Ready program.  Over 100 teachers from all over Alabama participated in training facilitated by our five AP content directors.  One teacher in the AP biology session said that the statistics integration training was the "best professional development that she had ever had."  She continued to say that the small, intimate training for first year AP teachers helped her to not feel "lost" as she was being trained to teach her first  AP biology class.
