Recreation Centers of Sun City West water conservation efforts
From time to time, we get questions from our residents about what we’re doing to conserve water in light of concerning news about drought conditions in the Southwest. The Rec Centers have been water conscious for many years, incorporating important changes into our regular operations and capital improvement plans. We also work closely with the Arizona Department of Water Resources to ensure we are in compliance with current regulations while also preparing for future ones.
To help keep residents informed, General Manager Bill Schwind and staff have compiled information at the link below to help illustrate the Rec Centers’ water conservation efforts.

Northwest Valley Connect offering vaccine rides
Community life is a buzz going forward from the COVID-19 pandemic phase and while residents watch activities return to a new normal, there are seniors questioning whether or not the pandemic is over.
Northwest Valley Connect Volunteers have a concern for those not vaccinated and remain vulnerable to the possibility of contracting the virus. If one should be you, NVC volunteers have a solution, they have made themselves available for your assistance. Just one phone call to NVC and a call center representative or dispatcher will schedule your vaccine site visitation, at home pick-up and delivery.
Northwest Valley Connect is an essential transport service for seniors 65 years and older, individuals with disabilities and veterans residing independently in the west valley who are without access to personal rides or lack public transportation because services are nonexistent or fragmented. Please keep in mind - a free ride service is just one-click-away.
