Council reports 75 per cent drop in community halls' income
 
Income generated for Buckhurst Hill Parish Council through hire charges for its two community halls - Roding Valley Hall and The Woollard Centre - dropped by 75 per cent in 2020-21 because of the COVID-19 lockdown, parish council finance officer Kim Lumb told the council's finance and establishment committee.

Any hirers who had paid hire fees for bookings which had to be cancelled have been reimbursed.
