• For every 5000 steps you walk, you will receive a ballet to entered into a prize draw on September 7^th.

The CHS-MC Sports Bursary program promotes a healthy lifestyle for children and youth with bleeding disorders through safe physical activities. Chapter youth, 17 years or younger, with a moderate or severe bleeding disorder can apply. 

New for 2021

COVID-19 has made it difficult for Chapter children to participate in organized sports. The Chapter's Member Services Committee is offering 10 - $100 bursaries that can be used towards the purchase of a bike for an eligible child. To apply for the bursary, please fill out the Sports Bursary form and send it to the Chapter Office for pre-approval. Approved applicants will then send the receipt for the bike purchase to the office to receive the bursary. 

The $100 Sports Bursary for a bike purchase will be available until September 1st or until all the bursaries are filled.

Summer Travel Kits for Kids from Bayer

 

A great big thank you to Bayer Canada for these summer travel kits for kids! A travel size water bottle, sharps container and a cool pack that can Velcro on is super useful. Bleeding disorders families are invited to contact the Chapter at info@hemophiliamb.ca and we will deliver or post the kits for the children in your family.
