YWAM Heredia, Costa Rica - Providing efficiency training in resource development and technology for use in developing nations

Dear Friend,
Costa Rica is home to three distinct YWAM campuses where volunteers are welcome to help with a broad and exciting array of work and ministry.
YWAM Nicoya is a brand new MBI partner. They are an outreach-focused YWAM community that is reaching rural villages with the gospel, providing a hospitable place of connection with God for believers and Christian workers, engaging in community development, taking Bibles to every home in their province, and more! They urgently need skillful builders, kitchen workers, and volunteers for daily campus maintenance. Bonus: Volunteers are welcome to join with them in ministry in the surrounding rural villages.
YWAM San Jose provides opportunities for individuals and teams to reach out to homeless people, prostitutes, and at-risk children, to name a few. Plus, their new Homes of Hope ministry opens the door for volunteers to come and build homes for poor families. They’ve put out an urgent call for skilled construction workers to help them finish their first multi-purpose building and start breaking ground on upcoming housing construction projects.
YWAM Heredia’s 7-acre property allows for the development and efficient use of natural resources such as organic agriculture, livestock, solar energy, and more. Their mission is to train students in technologies that they can take to needy people in developing nations as a means of opening doors for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. They invite volunteers to help with farming and children and do practical jobs in carpentry, maintenance, cooking, hospitality, grounds, office, and vehicle maintenance.
Meanwhile, further north:
YWAM Richmond in Virginia reaches out through local evangelism and mercy ministry as well as through training. Whether they’re sharing food with people caught between jobs or building teams and leadership skills through their NIKO and Richmond Ropes courses, they are committed to having a local and multi-cultural impact. They welcome volunteers to come and serve in as many areas as possible, from cooking to maintenance, from web design to social media, or from worship to A/V and broadcast production/management.
Calling all Canadians! If you want to volunteer but feel stuck by Covid-19 restrictions, you need to know that you can still serve in-country. YWAM Turner Valley in Alberta is more than happy to welcome volunteers to partner with them throughout the summer and fall. By helping them with cooking, hospitality, grounds, and maintenance, you’ll help keep them on track with their mandate to train, send, and support God’s people so that they might serve among the unreached.
